History
Toma West was formed in 2006 by Kenneth Grant, a Norwegian entrepreneur seeking to invest in Denver's established commercial real estate industry. Having attended college in southwest Colorado and spending many winters skiing in the beautiful high country, Mr. Grant was determined to keep his Colorado ties. He formed an investment partnership and purchased his first Denver property, 18th Street Atrium, in April 2006. This was followed by the 2006 acquisitions of Market Center, another historic Denver property, and 700 17th Street located in Denver's financial district. Mr. Grant continued to focus on the 17th Street corridor and purchased two more financial district properties in 2007, 621 & 633 17th Street. The current portfolio consists of nearly 1.4 million square feet.
