Kenneth Grant, President
Kenneth Grant brings 30-plus years experience as an owner and investor in real estate. In the 1970s, Kenneth worked as a broker in downtown Denver, before returning to his native Norway. Kenneth has extensive experience in purchasing, leasing and managing downtown office properties. His Denver portfolio consists of five downtown office buildings, representing nearly 10 percent of the total downtown market. As a true entrepreneur, Kenneth also has extensive holdings in the shipping and oil industries.
Michael Migues, Vice President
Michael Migues has been in the real estate business for more than 20 years, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Toma West. At Toma West, Michael is responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of assets in excess of 1.4 million square feet, with the primary goal of maximizing investment returns. This is accomplished in part by efficiently balancing landlord/tenant relations, incorporating operating expense analysis and control measures, and increasing revenues by combining a proven marketing strategy, with an experienced leasing team. Prior to joining Toma West, Michael was the Director of Real Estate for Colorado & Santa Fe, where he was responsible for the leasing and operation of nearly 5 million square feet of commercial real estate.
Bill Van Buhler, Property Manager
Bill Van Buhler has over 10 years experience in commercial property management. Bill comes to Toma West from managing over 500,000 SF of office space at Empire Park on Colorado Blvd & I-25. Bill has previously managed buildings in the downtown market including The International Building at 16th & Welton, Champa Centre at 16th & Champa, as well as managing executive suites at Tabor Center and Denver Place. Bill has been involved in all areas of property management ranging from leasing, maintenance supervision, and construction management. Bill is a native of Colorado where he attended Mullen HS and currently lives in Denver with his wife and 2 children.
Richard Herold, Property Manager
Returning to Denver after an extended hiatus Richard brings a diverse background of 30 plus years experience in commercial banking, construction, real estate management and finance to Toma West. He has lived and worked in such diverse large markets as New York City, Los Angeles, Portland, Oregon and San Francisco as well as rural market areas in Northern New Mexico, Colorado and central Idaho. Most recently residing in Taos, New Mexico he is excited to return to the urban challenges and experience of Denver where in the early 1980's he was a VP in the national corporate division of United Bank of Denver.
Libby Napoli, Assistant Property Manager
Libby joined the staff at Colorado Plaza Towers in July 2009 and is now the Assistant Property Manager where she develops and maintains tenant relations and acts as the liaison between the buildings’ management, engineering and tenants. She takes and directs tenant calls and works with engineering to make sure that service calls are responded to in a timely manner. She also maintains tenant correspondence, emergency planning, tracks tenant and vendor insurance as well as plans tenant events. Libby graduated from Mullen High School in 2005 and the University of Kansas in 2009 with a degree in Strategic Communications and a minor in Art History.
Stephanie Strand, Senior Property Accountant
Stephanie Strand was previously a Senior Property Accountant and Lease Administrator with Lowe Enterprises, Inc., a national real estate investment, development and management company. She joined Lowe in 1988 and was responsible for the financial reporting, lease administration, CAM reconciliations, budget preparation, debt compliance, annual financial audits and full-cycle A/R and A/P for the Central and Eastern portfolios that included office, retail, industrial and development properties. Stephanie is a third generation Colorado native and lives in Arvada with her husband and two children.
Emily McClure, Property Accountant
Emily McClure has been in the commercial real estate and property management industry for ten plus years. She started in Florida with a company that managed and built Class A office buildings where she was responsible for A/P and monthly bank reconciliations. In 2007, she and her family moved to Colorado where Emily has worked for local property management companies ranging from multi-family housing to industrial. Emily recently graduated with her B.S. in Business Accounting and lives in Castle Rock with her husband and two girls.
Andrea Ackerman, Leasing Associate
Andrea Ackerman has been involved with commercial real estate for the last four years. She started with Colorado and Santa Fe Real Estate where she shared and leased a 30 property portfolio that consisted of office, retail and industrial buildings throughout the Denver Metro area. She has closed over a million square feet in leasing and renewals and grossed nearly 15 million dollars in Net lease value over the past three years. Andrea has performed extensive market research with regards to comparable properties, market analysis, and market trends in office, retail, and industrial commercial real estate.
Andrea made it a point in 2006 to gain involvement in international Real Estate. Wanting to make use of her second undergrad degree in Spanish for the Professions, she convinced the owner of CSF to allow her involvement in his Latin American business transactions. She convinced the owner of CSF to arrange and attend meetings with him in Mexico City with Latin American CEOs of Morgan Stanley, CB Richard Ellis, Jones Lang La Salle and also BBVA bank regarding the investment of 100 million dollars in Mexico City office space. She is also actively committed to her community and is a member of such organizations as DMCAR (Denver Metro Commercial Association of Realtors) CBB (Commercial Brokers of Boulder), and CREW (Commercial Real Estate for Women), where she is heavily involved and dedicates many hours to the Denver Community Outreach Program.
Andrea joined the team of Toma West in August of 2008, and now does the direct leasing for 3 of the 5 downtown Denver office buildings. She is also heavily involved with the building of relationships with current tenants in order to retain and renew as many as possible.
Carleena Watson, Tenant Services Coordinator
Carleena Watson joined Colorado Plaza Towers as Concierge through Advantage Security in July 2008. When hired on to the management team, Carleena took on the role of Tenant Services Coordinator. She is responsible for processing building service requests and coordinating building events for all of the Toma West properties. Carleena also continues to provide full Concierge services for Colorado Plaza Towers, including selling stamps and RTD passes, procuring tickets and reservations, as well as general tenant relations. Carleena takes extra care to build good relationships with the tenants.
Carleena is a native of Denver, a U.S. Army Veteran, and has 25+ years of administrative experience, customer service and prior experience in the property management field. She lives in Aurora with her Chihuahua Joy and her fat cat Puss.
